Brandon Auret

Brandon Auret was born in Springs, South Africa which is a mining and industrial town south-east of Johannesburg. He is half-Scottish, half-French but most of all, he is South African. Brandon studied a three-year Diploma in Dramatic Arts at Pretoria Technikon and worked hard in theatre before he got his big break in television, as the beloved Leon du Plessis in Isidingo: The Need.

He emerged into the world of theatre with a role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and following this starred in The Buddy Holly Story for about five years. He has also performed in theatre productions such as Sex, Lies & Leopard crawls, Jukebox Hero, Seventies Revolution, Forever Young, Frankly Speaking, Buddy and Friends, Feelin’ Groovy, Summer Holiday, Doowah Boys, Legends Live, Boys Next Door, Buddy Holly, Jack & the Beanstalk, Aladdin, Nativity, PACT School Tour, Buddy Holly Story and Sleeping Beauty.

Brandon has appeared in various films and TV shows such as Night drive, District 9 (D9), The raceist, Swop, Hansie – The movie, Angels’ Song, One Way, Laugh Out Loud, Isidingo, Egoli, SOS and Zet.

Ntsepa Pitjeng

Ntsepa Pitjeng was born and bred in Pietersburg 26 yrs ago. After matric in 2001 she discovered her passion for acting and relocated to Pretoria to study drama at Tshwane University Of Technology and obtained a Drama Diploma.

Professionally Ntsepa has performed in a number of children’s theater shows for peoples theatre as well as for pro musica theatre which included plays like Liewe Heksie and Madiba Magic. Ntsepa then moved into industrial theatre working along side Jonathan Rands for jumping Dust and Viva Hecate which is an Hiv and Aids awareness campaign, which tours around South Africa.

Ntsepa also featured in the local soapie Muvhango for a supporting role. This year she competed in the South African Idols and was one of the Top Ten finalists. Since then she has performed for Fashion Tv, recorded a song for Swiss Garde and she has recently represented South Africa by performing a tribute to the late Mariam Makeba in Tanzania.

Dianne Simpson

Having graduated from Pretoria Technikon in 1996, Dianne then attended the TVI Actors Studio course in LA, has lived in London for two years and here in SA her career highlights include Musicals, “THE SOUND OF MUSIC” – State Theatre; “MY FAIR LADY” (Mrs Pearce) – State Theatre; “A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM” (Philia) – Civic Theatre Tesson. Theatre, “BLITHE SPIRIT” (Ruth Condomine) – Sandton Square; “DR FAUSTUS’ – Civic Actors Centre; Blue Sky’s Prods of “OVERRULED”, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE”, “PUCK’S STORY” and “BEWITCHED” at Grahamstown Fests.

She toured to Cape Town and WITS in Sarah Kane’s “4.48 PSYCHOSIS”. She has appeared on TV in “GENERATIONS”, “EGOLI” and “NOAH’S ARK”. She writes and directs various corporate theatre and has done numerous voice-overs for TV and Radio.

Her greatest highlight remains being an on-set voice artist for “RACING STRIPES” (Warner BROS ) and she takes the voices of Puppy Jock and Lillian in the upcoming SA Animated feature “JOCK OF THE BUSHVELD”.

Pieter Bosch Botha

Pieter Bosch Botha has been active in the industry since the age of 6 when he landed a lead in a national Opel Monza commercial.

After having completed his studies he has been responsible for Directing 11 new productions in the last 2 years, including “Rapunzel”, “James and the Giant Peach”, “Pinocchio”, “Madiba Magic”, “Rooikappie”, “Liewe Heksie” and “Danny the Champion of the World”. In February 2009 Pieter Directed the 3rd Year Drama students at TUKS in a critically acclaimed production of Roald Dahl’s “The Witches”.

He has branched into dramatic theatre directing with a very successful new play, “Little Blue Dress”, starring Michelle Ayden and Neels Clasen. He has also performed in many productions namely, “Jack and the Beanstalk” and “Cinderella” at the JHB Civic Theatre, and he has also performed in a large variety of industrial and educational theatre. Some highlights from his educational theatre experience includes “Hooked on Books”, “I Choose”, “Trio Turbulence” and “Coming Out Again”. In 2006 Pieter performed in the sell-out comedy “Dames & Here” directed by Lizz Meiring.

His television adventures include a guest role in the SABC 2 sitcom “Askies!”, as well as in Backstage. He has branched into physical theatre directing with a very exciting new piece called “HATS”, which played to full houses at the Krekvars Arts Festival. “HATS” will be embarking on a National Tour in 2010. Most recently Pieter has undertaken the role of Director for the 2009 star-studded production of Michael Frayn’s “Noises Off!”, as well as a very exciting new one man comedy show called “Wasgoed”, starring Kosie Smit.

He is currently portraying the controversial role of Lammetjie Koekemoer on Kyknet’s daily soap “Villa Rosa”.
